What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health science, or similar degree., 5-10 years professional experience in occupational safety, environmental, or similar role(s), verbal, written, analytical and influence skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management., Knowledge of the following areas: EPA (Environmental) OSHA (Occupational Safety), and similar regulations and reporting., Experience developing safety culture (E. g. , Bradley Curve)

Nice to Have

Chemical or similar manufacturing backgrounds preferred, CSP or CIH and/or MS preferred

What You'll Do.

and maintain EHS Programs

Lead regulatory efforts

Coach leadership team on safe behaviors

Lead and manage all aspects of EHS training

Lead site for key Risk Assessments

Participate in Gemba / Safety walks

Ensure proper utilization of company EHS systems

Support site engineering for compliance

Lead and manage incident/accident investigation processes

Facilitate New Hire EHS Orientation

Participate in the site Behavior Based Safety program

Lead assist in Root Cause Analysis

Integrate all Corporate and Regional EHS programs

Participate and assist in managing MOC process

Lead site Emergency Response Team

Submit State and Federal EH&S reports

Assist sites to implement Corporate EHS Standards

Assist Human Resources regarding workers compensation

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration
