What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Completed bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, chemistry or biology or another related field, An understanding of the legislative structure of OSHA and Cal/OSHA, 5+ years of EHS experience, Five years of professional experience in leading health and safety programs and projects, Computer savvy. Must be comfortable working with enterprise software and Microsoft Suite, Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have
Completed master's degree in EHS, engineering, chemistry or biology or another related field, Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist, Experience with Gensuite, 1-5 years of experience in media, entertainment or film
What You'll Do.
support overall EHS program implementation
ensure applicable EHS training is made available
develop new training as needed
manage training systems
facilitate training between third party software platforms and internal clients
assess and abate health and safety hazards
build relationships and interact with various departments
serve as technical advisor and problem solver
manage injury and illness investigations
manage various health and safety programs
manage the Inspections Program and conduct inspections
oversee monthly Safety Team meetings
perform safety risk assessments
direct and instruct personnel on technical EHS requirements
perform audits of high-risk activities
develop and analyze weekly and monthly metrics
manage the Contractor Safety Program
interact and provide guidance to tenants and non-employees
interact with government agencies
respond to Safety Hotline calls
respond to emergencies
document work in EHS information management system
corporate or industry working groups
conduct health and safety program audits
