Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, 2 years of experience in Industrial Safety and Hygiene, Advanced English proficiency, Knowledge of Environmental Control, Health, and Safety, Environmental Impact and Waste Management, Hazardous Materials Handling and Process Safety, Knowledge of STPS, SEMARNAT, SPA, CESPT, Fire Department, Civil Protection, IMSS, PROFEPA, and COFEPRIS regulations, Knowledge of Ergonomics, Knowledge of Occupational Health and preventive techniques
What You'll Do.

Monitors pollution prevention activities

Conducts studies and prepares environmental impact reports for new construction projects
plant processes and permit changes.
Reviews and analyzes environmental documentation issued by regulatory collaborates with regulatory agencies to determine corrective action plans.
Determines impact on company operations and publishes compliance strategies and requirements.
Evaluates proposed regulations to determine financial
public and environmental impact.
Interacts with regulators to resolve compliance issues.
Represents company in government and industry rule-making activities.
Identifies and takes corrective action against activities that pose potential threats to workers' health or safety
which may include recommending organizational measures to protect workers' safety through revised methods
or inspecting workplace environments
and/or practices to ensure compliance with standards and and investigating and/or identifying causes regarding filed incidents.
