We are now pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced EHS Campus Lead to join our team on a major Data Centre project. Reporting to the Project Director, this senior role will take full ownership of the project’s Environmental, Health & Safety strategy, ensuring all works are delivered in full compliance with Winthrop’s Safety Management System, statutory legislation, and industry best practice. _**Responsibilities:**_ * Lead the overall EHS strategy for the project, ensuring alignment with Winthrop’s corporate Safety Management System. * Provide senior leadership and direction to the EHS team, including EHS Managers, Advisors, and subcontractor safety personnel. * Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Construction Stage Health & Safety Plans. * Review and approve high‑risk method statements, RAMS, SPAs, and permit‑to‑work systems, ensuring robust controls are in place. * Drive proactive risk management, identifying emerging risks early and implementing mitigation strategies across all work fronts. * Lead senior-level incident and accident investigations, ensuring root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and organisational learning. * Present EHS performance, trends, and strategic updates to senior management, clients, and key stakeholders. * Ensure subcontractor EHS performance is rigorously monitored, audited, and aligned with project and corporate standards. * Champion a strong safety culture, promoting behavioural safety, engagement, and continuous improvement across the project.
