What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Good knowledge of EHS legislation, Experience in EHS manufacturing role, Day-to-day risk assessment management, Working knowledge of ISO14001, NEBOSH General Certificate

Nice to Have

EHS experience in Aerospace sector, Experience of Nadcap processes, NEBOSH Diploma, Manual Handling Trainer/ DSE Assessor, Knowledge of solvent regulations

What You'll Do.

Lead EHS management systems development

Oversee Health & Safety strategy implementation

Oversee Environmental strategy implementation

Develop annual improvement plan

Act as EH&S subject matter expert

Align local strategy with Group expectations

Share best practice across Group sites

Provide line management to EH&S Officer

Review EH&S strategy and objectives

Provide oversight and reporting on progress

Develop and communicate EHS metrics

Report on progress and trend analysis

Provide weekly plant updates

Attend Health & Safety meetings

Liaise with external agencies

Provide advice on statutory compliance

Keep up to date with legislation

Improve EHS management policies

Develop EHS management procedures

Implement EHS management systems

Engage colleagues and third parties

Support teams to submit observations

Follow procedures for accident reporting

Follow procedures for near miss reporting

Conduct investigations

Provide feedback on investigations

Implement corrective actions

Develop risk assessments

Review risk assessments

Update risk assessments

Coach managers in risk management

Ensure assessments are up to date

Identify colleague training needs

Conduct colleague training

Arrange colleague training

Conduct workplace inspections
