What You'll Do.
Prepares patients for EEG
Obtains patient history
Explains testing techniques
Applies performs EEG testing
Maintains safety and infection control
Coordinates and prepares EEG for interpretation
Communicates with neurologist
Maintains accurate departmental records
Assists in departmental performance improvement
Maintains clinical competencies and credentials
Participates in accreditation efforts
Serves as a preceptor
Prepares completed studies for physician
Performs 24 hour ambulatory EEG studies
Prepares completed studies for scanning
