These programs are designed to be accessible to non-traditional students and are offered in response to the current healthcare needs of our community. # _****_ **Job Description** **Responsibilities and Duties Include:** * Assists with the Sciences for Health Programs labs, which includes Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Chemistry * Prepares and deconstructs labs, maintaining a clean and safe environment. * Ensures and adheres to cleanliness and safety following established regulations and guidelines. * Greets and assists students and staff participating in labs which includes answering and directing phone calls and assisting in-person visitors. * Complies with all published College Rules, procedures, guidelines, and laws/regulations governing public employees, including but not limited to those related to document retention and destruction, FERPA, and confidentiality. * Strictly honors the privacy, security, and confidentiality of student records and other sensitive information according to appropriate state, federal, and college regulations, policies, and procedures. * Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible and professional engagement * Perform other duties as assigned ## Reports to: Academic Lab Manager, Sciences for Health Programs ## **QUALIFICATIONS** **Required** : The Educational Aide must be a currently enrolled Santa Fe College student, in good academic and behavioral standing, taking six (6) or more credit hours.
