This role is responsible for producing high-quality components that meet strict customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements in a high-reliability manufacturing environment supporting aerospace, defense, and subsea applications. ## Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Set up, operate, and monitor EDM equipment (wire and/or sinker) to machine precision components. · Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure parts meet specification requirements. · Load materials, select appropriate tooling, and adjust machine parameters based on job requirements. · Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical equipment). · Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements in accordance with engineering specifications. · Identify and report issues with tooling, equipment, or quality to Production Supervisor or Engineering. · Complete required documentation, including shop travelers, inspection records, and ERP data entry accurately and timely. · Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational procedures, including PPE and housekeeping standards. · Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in corrective action efforts when ne
