Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years’ worth of digital experience (preferably in journalism or content-related affiliate commerce/marketing), SEO expertise, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, application of AP style, Daily experience working within a CMS, Knowledge of analytics platforms (Ex: Adobe Analytics, Chartbeat, etc. ), Proven track record of editing revenue-driving articles (both deals-centric and evergreen), Excellent time management and prioritization skills, meticulous and consistent follow up, Highly analytical, ability to interpret data, recognizing inflection points and key insights, Exceptional understanding of affiliate marketing landscape and ecosystem, key players, revenue models, etc.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with WordPress, Bachelor's degree, Familiarity with AP Style, Experience utilizing SEO tools and best practices, understanding of the digital lifestyle and commerce spaces (tech, beauty, fashion, home, etc. ) with both evergreen and deals coverage experience

We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking. ## _**JOB DESCRIPTION**_ The Editor, Commerce will primarily focus on the publication of commerce content from our internal writers. The Editor will manage the writers, sending assignments and editing their copy, and work closely with our content director and production editor. It is vital that candidates have a strong service journalism background. This role will report to the Content Director. In this role, you will also assist and facilitate tasks of the larger editorial commerce team. Additional responsibilities include analyzing metrics, trends/market research and presenting key takeaways/findings to internal stakeholders, and writing content when necessary, for instance during major sales events. This person should be a multitasker who can work effectively and efficiently while managing multiple writers and supporting other cross-organization initiatives as needed. _**A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**_ * Manage the editorial process from start to finish – story ideation, creating content briefs, sending assignments, editing and production of commerce content. * Edit 10-15 pieces of shoppable content roundups and breakout articles a week. * Work closely with the larger editorial commerce team to determine which commerce pitches should be assigned to freelancers. * Part of the core editorial team strategizing coverage for tentpole shopping events like Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. * Participate in commerce meetings to further growth, including: metrics analysis, story performance, futur
