8+ years’ experience as an editor and/or manager in a news role, Record of success in identifying, developing, and publishing terrific stories, Bachelor’s degree required, Effective change-management skills, Ability to lead a nimble and change ready organization, Quality editing, writing and story-management skills, Ability to help conceptualize graphics, Provide input on engagement strategies, Exceptional curiosity and news judgment, Knowledge of digital news and information publishing operations, Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, Thoughtful decision-making capabilities, Desire to develop relationships and influence news reporting and editing on a large scale
