ABOUT THIS ROLE Audible’s Content team is looking for a smart, passionate, book and podcast-obsessed editor to support the ongoing curation needs of the editorial team and to oversee the Hear My Story program—collections by storytellers from diverse backgrounds and experiences. The Editor is expected to define the goals and strategy of the program, ensuring that they ladder up to the overall goals of both the larger department and the business. They will oversee the ongoing updates of each page across our Global English marketplaces, and also work cross-functionally with other partner teams on the execution of various Hear My Story collections. The Senior Editor understands how to measure the success of their program and report on and share results. The role also requires being an active participant in other Editorial programs, such as Editors Select and Best of the Year, lending subject matter and genre expertise where appropriate. ABOUT THE TEAM Our content team focuses on creating incredible listening experiences. Whether producing new content in our state-of-the-art facilities at Audible Studios or managing editorials, our team is committed to delivering engaging, exciting, and enthralling stories every single time. Our in-house publishing team is made up of passionate individuals who are full of fresh ideas and innovative approaches that enable us to not only share classic tales with our audiences worldwide, but create them, too.
