What You'll Do.
Assist in completion of physician's medical records
Update medical record in real time
Transcribe details of physical exam
Assimilate results from lab tests
Document procedures performed by physician
Assist in initiating pages to consultants
Perform pre-billing reviews
Maintain awareness of business of medicine
