Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, State approved Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic course, Valid driver's license, Current Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, applicable state Paramedic certification
Nice to Have
National Paramedic Certification Registry, Basic Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Life Support certification
What You'll Do.
Administers approved IV solutions and medications
Maintains communications with Medical Control
Relays patient information to appropriate medical facility
Assures safe transportation of patient
Documents required paperwork and keeps accurate records
Completes all EMS charge sheets
Completes all DHR run sheets
Maintains equipment in proper working order
Checks all equipment on ambulance daily
