What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, 3–5 years of professional experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering, expertise in environmental control systems or thermal management for aviation, knowledge of mechanical and thermal systems design, system integration principles, Analytical mindset, proven ability to address complex challenges, deliver practical solutions in a fast-paced environment, Exceptional ability to work across disciplines, driving integration and alignment with project goals, Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, document work, present to diverse stakeholders, Proficiency in CAD software (e. g. , NX), familiarity with engineering tools for simulation and analysis

Nice to Have

Experience with aerospace environmental control systems, avionics cooling, thermal management for aircraft components, Familiarity with aviation standards (e. g. , DO-160, ARP-4754/4761, 14 CFR Part 23/25), certification processes, Exposure to AI-driven engineering applications, generative design, predictive maintenance for thermal systems, Experience with tools like Polarion or DOORS for requirements management, Familiarity with Agile development practices in engineering projects
