Must be a national of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan or obtain a valid work permit, Proof of nationality, residency, and/or work authorization required

D. in macroeconomics, financial economics, or relevant fields, Five or more years of relevant work experience, Proficiency in software applications, Excel, Econometrics packages, Statistical techniques, Econometrics techniques, Macroeconomic relationships, Analytical skills, Quantitative skills, Spreadsheet skills, Data analysis skills, Ability to work independently, Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic

Nice to Have

Ph. D. in macroeconomics, financial economics, or relevant fields, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance

What You'll Do.

Monitor economic developments

Assess economic policies

Evaluate economic policies

Identify economic problems

Provide economic information

Maintain economic databases

Prepare written outputs

Prepare statistical outputs

Contribute to capacity monitors

Develop relationships with national staff

Develop relationships with donor institutions

Develop relationships with IFIs

Assist visiting mission staff

Collect economic sector data

Analyze economic sector data

Prepare program background notes

Participate in missions

Exchange information with officials

Coordinate with communications department

Develop outreach strategy
