There are many reasons to build your career at Carter's. ## How you’ll make an impact: Carter’s is seeking a Platform Reliability & Operation Engineer to support the performance, reliability, scalability, and security of our enterprise eCommerce websites powered by Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). This role bridges software engineering and operational expertise to deliver seamless online experiences, leveraging cutting-edge technology, vendor collaborations, and automation. Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, HTML, and CSS is critical for success in this position. ## **eCommerce Platform Operations (40%)** * Technical Support: Perform bug fixes, code updates, optimizations, and platform configurations for SFCC environments. * Incident and Problem Management: Assist in troubleshooting efforts for production issues, collaborating with internal teams and vendors to identify and resolve problems promptly. * Site Reliability: Execute daily operational routines to maintain site performance, security, and reliability. * Integration Management: Assist in developing and maintaining integration between SFCC and backend systems or third-party solutions using APIs (OCAPI/SCAPI). ## **Monitoring and Observability (20%)** * Automation: Support the development of automated tools for monitoring, scaling, and synchronization of SFCC environments. * Website Optimization: Collaborate with vendors (e.g., AWS, Cloudflare) under the guidance of senior team members to enhance CDN functionality and improve website performance for global users. * Observability: Assist in designing and maintaining m
