**POSITION SUMMARY:** Under supervision, intern-level employee assists the Cardiac ECHO technician team with day-to-day operational duties and responsibilities, including performing testing, restocking supplies, cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining lab equipment. The above is not intended to represent an exhaustive list of accountable duties and responsibilities required).** **JOB REQUIREMENTS** **EDUCATION:** * Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and looking to fulfill internship requirements for completion. **EXPERIENCE:** * Demonstrate general knowledge and technical skills required to perform cardiac echo examinations as an entry-level cardiac sonographer. * Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of cardiac sonography to pursue registry status through The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers upon completion of the program. * Understand the importance of lifelong continuing education in Cardiac Sonography. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA):** * Basic understanding of Cardiac medical terminology and sonography * Adaptability * Flexibility * Communication Skills * Attention to Detail * Organizational Skills * Time Management Skills * Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required **Compensation Range:** $17.55- $24.52 This range offers an estimate based on
