What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10+ years of pertinent experience in Engineering/Operations/Project Management, Knowledge of Project Management processes and tools, verbal and written communication comfortable presenting in front of a group (including senior leadership), interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with people of different backgrounds and communication styles., Knowledge of Supplier Operations (Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering) and an understanding of the Strategic and Business aspect of Supply Chain Projects, Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents, Demonstrated influential leadership and initiative, Autonomous, organized, and efficient, Knowledge of ERP and PLM systems (such as SAP and Enovia), Good knowledge of the English language, written and oral, is required for this position considering the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the [candidate] will be called upon to interact.

The mandate of the selected candidate will be to provide project leadership, engineering liaison, and technical expertise to deliver on key technical projects impacting our business. Relying on strong project management skills and influential leadership, the candidate will be accountable for initiating, leading, and delivering various types of projects within set timelines and budgets. The scope of the project includes supplier requests for work transfers, material obsolescence, manufacturing process & design changes, and the occasional technical investigation. The candidate will also have a voice in our strategic sourcing review process based on the knowledge and network built with various suppliers. A key to success will be to have or develop a strong network with our numerous suppliers worldwide, along with multiple internal organizations (Engineering, Inspection, Metrology, Quality, Lab, Procurement, and many others).
