What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Advanced degree in Remote Sensing, Geography, GIS, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science or a related field (2: 1 minimum), Professional experience developing workflows harnessing commercial and open-source EO data and understanding of end-user licence agreements, Detailed understanding of EO opportunities, pitfalls and applications for scalable and viable solutions, Technical delivery of developing pixel and/or object-based classification techniques using EO imagery, Familiarity with both optical and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and other sensors (if applicable) to harness data fusion across Amentum key sectors, Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, building relationships based on mutual trust and respect, Excellent communication and presentation skills, Driven and motivated to succeed, with a high level of personal accountability
Nice to Have
Experience with programming such as Python for processing data and automating workflows, A background in the use of GIS software, ideally ESRI product suite
