E&ITechnician

The E&I Technician is responsible for providing maintenance services to internal customers. Executing site preventative maintenance activities while communicating effectively with internal customers and outside service providers and suppliers. This position will also support capital construction and commissioning activities. **Responsibilities** * Plan, execute and record periodic maintenance and repair on terminal electrical equipment and instrumentation in a computerized maintenance program. * Perform hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all terminal equipment. * Assist the Operations and Drumming Departments as required. * Coordinates with other Maintenance Technicians and other Departments. * Capable of participating in the terminal emergency response organization and wearing an SCBA and other chemical PPE. * Wear appropriate PPE for required task, and safely perform job duties. * Provide after-hours and weekend support on a routine call rotation and occasionally as job duties demand * Drive a company vehicle. * Depending on the E&I Maintenance Technician position being filled- may operate heavy equipment.​ ​ **Education and Experience** * High School Diploma or equivalent * Industrial E&I Trade School or equivalent. * At least five years of experience in an industrial setting. This requirement can be waived by IMTT depending on educational background and/or other occupational experience. * General experience in maintenance, electrical and instrumentation in a chemical manufacturing or storage facility. * Valid Driver’s License * TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials) for access to IMTT’s terminal locations. **Skills and Abilities** * Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in the English language. * Ability to understand written and verbal communication in the English language. * Ability to make decisions in a variable environment. * Must be a team player, responsible, and trustworthy. * Excellent organization
