What You'll Do.
Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of electronic invoices
Resolving billing issues
Maintaining compliance with client specific billing guidelines
Managing relationships with multiple third party E-billing platforms
Troubleshooting and addressing e-billing issues from various e-billing suppliers
Maintaining and creating Bill Templates in (SAP)
Troubleshooting issues with billing templates (xml format
Reviewing and processing bills to ensure all bills are recorded on a timely and accurate basis
Ensuring e-billing problems are addressed promptly
budgets and accruals from various suppliers
Ensuring compliance with firm approval policies and procedures
Helping legal assistants with e-billing inquiries
Providing back up in preparing a variety of reports
Performing other duties as required to achieve firm objectives
Supporting implementation of new client ebilling requirements and onboarding of new matters
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Act as a liaison between Billing, Finance, Lawyers and clients to resolve billing issues; Communicate effectively with all levels of staff; Communicate frequently with managers and/or colleagues in other provinces or countries
Communication Scope
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff; Bilingualism required; Good working knowledge of both English and French
