What They're Looking For.
Must Have
DZ license with Air brakes, Minimum of 12 months verifiable, related behind the wheel driving experience (within last 36 months), Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract (dated within last 30 days), Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, such as reference check, background check, pre-employment medical test and a driver's road test or equivalent, Ability and knowledge to safely load and properly block, brace, and secure materials, Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, Ability to drive the vehicle safely in accordance with all traffic regulations, Ability to complete compliance paperwork and all shipping documentsill of ladings
What You'll Do.
Performs pre-trip and post-trips inspections
Identifies and communicates minor and major defects
Completes daily driver log book
Loads and unloads truck
Secures items to prevent damage
Ensures all materials are properly packaged
Verifies orders against packing slip
Delivers and collects products/waste containers
Serves customers by understanding
resolving and/or forwarding customer questions
Completes Daniels' commercial vehicle cleaning and disinfecting protocol
Records information on packing slip and manifest
Ensures compliance with TDG Regulations
Complies with all environmental & health and safety policies and procedures
