One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities, High school diploma or equivalent (18+), Ability to transport clients to community activities

What You'll Do.

Work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential

Assist with everyday tasks

such as meal preparation

Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities

Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community

Accompany clients on errands and appointments

Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization
