What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High School Diploma/GED, required, Minimum of 6 months experience in route sales, grocery, warehousing, or delivery, required, A valid Driver's License required, A valid CDL-B Driver’s License will be required within 90 days of start date, Federal Regulations require individuals in this position to be 21 years of age, Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal or schedule form, Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment, Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building working relationships and a positive work environment

What You'll Do.

Sell and merchandise quality products

Drive a Smithfield Foods box truck

Quote prices and credit terms

Prepare sales invoices for orders

Deliver products to customer

Rotate inventory as required

Prepare end of day reports

Inform local management on issues

Maintain daily Department of Transportation

Maintain daily truck inventory

Perform weekly physical inventory

Drive to assigned locations

Use equipment to unload products

Move throughout the store

Remove defective and out-of-date products

Process returns and credits
