What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma/GED, Minimum of 6 months experience in route sales, grocery, warehousing, or delivery, A valid Driver's License, A valid CDL-B Driver’s License will be required within 90 days of start date, Federal Regulations require individuals in this position to be 21 years of age, Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal or schedule form, Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment, Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building working relationships and a positive work environment
What You'll Do.
Sell and merchandise quality products
Drive a Smithfield Foods box truck
Quotes prices and credit terms
Prepares sales invoices for orders
Delivers products to customer
Rotates inventory as required
Prepares end of day reports
Maintains daily Department of Transportation
Maintains daily truck inventory
Does weekly physical inventory
Driving to assigned locations
Using equipment to unload products
Move throughout the store
Removing defective and out-of-date products
Process returns and credits
