What They're Looking For.
Must Have

What You'll Do.
Deliver ice to customers
Physically unload ice
Fill ice at customer locations
Rotate ice at customer locations
Train newly hired drivers
Assist supervisors with training
Assist supervisors with inventory counts
Assist supervisors with safety communication
Assist supervisors with operational initiatives
Assist supervisors with training initiatives
Stay up-to-date on CRM Dashboard
Engage on CRM Dashboard
Communicate CRM Dashboard changes
Update customer files
Ensure efficient customer deliveries
Avoid out-of-ice situations
Participate in Daily Visual Management reviews
Perform road tests on drivers
Complete paperwork as required
Train newly hired drivers on equipment
Train newly hired drivers on policies
Train newly hired drivers on procedures
Complete all training paperwork
Operate company truck
Maintain company truck
Perform pre-trip inspections
Perform post-trip inspections
Comply with state/federal hours of service requirements
Operate vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations

_**Job Requisition**_ JR23933 _**Worker Time Type**_ Full time _**Worker Sub-Type**_ Regular ** _Shift_** ** _Job Description_** **Reddy Ice utilizes the U.S. Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. Please make sure you are registered with the "Clearinghouse" in order to be considered for employment with Reddy Ice.** **_POSITION PURPOSE:_** This role accelerates business values by delivering ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) that require a CDL Class A license. In markets without tractor-trailers, a Class B license will be sufficient for this role. Drivers are either assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. Drivers are expected to physically unload, deliver, fill and rotate ice at the customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated is subject to change depending on business needs. When not assigned a route, this position trains newly hired drivers (Class A, Class B, and Non-CDL). Demonstrates our “True North” attributes: voice of the customer, respect for the individual, no nonsense communication and utilization of facts, servant leadership and has a continuous improvement mindset in every facet of leadership and daily interaction. Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities. **_DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_** 1\.
