Industry & Context.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs., Able to sit for long periods of time, Able to stand for long periods of time, Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, Exposure to varying road environments, Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, May be required to obtain a gaming or other license(s), May undergo background investigations or security checks, Must meet certain standards dictated by law, regulation or contracts, Consent to L&W conducting a due diligence background investigation
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Must be at least 21 years of age, Maintain a valid driver’s license, Able to obtain and maintain gaming licenses as required, Valid Class C license with a clean driving record, Minimum of 3–5 years of driving experience, Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures, Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card, Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis for short distances, Transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices
Nice to Have
Experience with long-haul, regional, or specialized freight, Class C license required with clean driving record
What You'll Do.
Picking and delivering goods
Picking and delivering packages
Picking and delivering equipment
Loading or unloading contents of the vehicle
Ensure compliance with all DOT safety regulations
Ensure compliance with all OSHA safety regulations
Ensure compliance with all company safety regulations
Report any vehicle issues promptly
Report any delays promptly
Report any incidents promptly
Responsible for company cargo delivery to suppliers
Responsible for company cargo delivery to distributors
Ensures accuracy of all paperwork
Responsible for safety of crewmembers
Responsible for safety of fellow employees
Responsible for safety of the public while operating company vehicles
Supervising company activity
Performing company activity
Completing local moving jobs
Completing storage jobs
