Must Have
Class A & or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement, Current 40-hour HAZWOPER Training or ability to pass course upon hire, DZ License or higher, 2-4 years of related driving experience or training, Interpersonal and customer services skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff, Ability to remain focused in busy environment, Ability to drive safely, Ability to use navigation tools, Ability to maintain basic logs and records, Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision
What You'll Do.
Safely operate a collection truck
Provide prompt waste removal services
Ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards
Complete daily vehicle condition reports
Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections
Safely operate heavy truck along routes
Follow route sheets and maps
Provide services to customers
Operate controls to comply with driving rules
Dispose of collected material
Interact with customers and colleagues
Service customer routes
Identify unsatisfactory waste containers
Process hazardous materials
Process non-hazardous materials
Operate company hydrovac unit
Monitor vehicle condition
Minimize vehicle downtime
Clean accidental waste spills
Adhere to productivity standards
