What You’ll Get to Do The Driver Class B / Plant Support is focused on transporting and unloading material to customers while interacting with customers to help resolve any issues that may arise and regularly supporting plant operations. This role reports to the Shop Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who is detail oriented, safety centric, and has excellent customer service skills. Job Responsibilities Include Handle and transport metal products including loading, unloading, and securing various materials such as loose or crated metal. When driving, perform daily vehicle inspections, including pre-trip and post-trip checks to ensure safety and compliance. Make multiple deliveries while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism and also regularly supporting plant operations. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies, including adherence to Critical Safety Rules. Maintain regular and reliable attendance while safely performing all assigned tasks.
