Ability to lift and transport equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds, Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and load/unload materials for extended periods, Ability to safely operate vehicles for extended periods of time, Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, Schedules may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, Must be available for early morning program departures, Travel throughout NYC, surrounding metro areas
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid CDL A or driver’s license, Clean driving record
Nice to Have
Minimum 2 years experience operating commercial vehicles in NYC or other dense urban environments, Experience operating buses, trailers, box trucks, or similar commercial vehicles, Bilingual in English and Spanish
What You'll Do.
Safely operate BioBus vehicles
Transport microscopes
science lab equipment
Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Monitor vehicle cleanliness
Support safe deployment of microscopes
Assist with loading and unloading heavy equipment
Represent BioBus professionally
