Wilderness First Aid, Subject matter expert in two drilling operation types, Experience running programs in different countries, Experience running programs in remote environments, Africa experience, Worked in a small company, Worked as member of a very small team, Master's qualification in civil engineering, Master's qualification in mechanical engineering, Master's qualification in mineral/mining engineering, Master's qualification in geology, Master's qualification in earth sciences, Rigging registration, Professional engineering designation, Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
What You'll Do.
Lead planning of drilling programs
Lead execution of drilling programs
Translate exploration hypotheses into drill programs
Conduct exploration drilling safely
Manage drill contracts
Lead procurement strategy
Manage contract terms
Manage contract renewals
Manage contractor performance
Validate drilling invoices
Approve drilling invoices
Provide daily oversight of drill sites
Direct field activities
Direct contractor activities
Communicate with Project Geologist
Communicate with Project Data Scientist
Communicate with Senior Project Planner
Ensure contractor compliance with safety
Lead incident management
Lead root cause analysis
Lead corrective action
Understand applicable DRC laws
Understand applicable DRC regulations
Ensure compliance with JV partner practices
Ensure contractor compliance with drilling technology system
Ensure accurate drilling data reporting
Arrange shipment of drilling equipment
Arrange shipment of drilling material
Provide expert drilling advice
Conduct technical discussions
