Full Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Draftsman – Mechanical for a reputed company in Qatar. #### Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed mechanical fabrication and piping drawings as per project requirements. * Develop GA (General Arrangement), shop fabrication, assembly, and isometric drawings. * Prepare detailed drawings for: * Steel Structures * Piping Systems * Storage Tanks * Structural Fabrication * Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and client standards. * Coordinate with engineers, fabrication teams, and project departments for drawing revisions and updates. * Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. * Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and bill of materials when required. * Modify and update drawings based on site conditions and client comments. * Maintain drawing records and revision control systems. #### Required Skills & Software Knowledge Candidates must have hands-on experience in: * Steel fabrication drafting * Piping detailing * Tank detailing * Structural detailing #### Software Knowledge * Tekla * STR * Tank detailing software * Piping drafting software * AutoCAD (preferred) #### Preferred Candidate Profile * Experience in industrial fabrication projects, oil & gas, or heavy engineering industries. * Good understanding of fabrication standards and piping layouts. * Ability to work independently under project deadlines. * Gulf experience will be an added advantage.
