What You'll Achieve.
ensuring that radiological exposures for personnel working in nuclear facilities are closely monitored, accurately recorded, and kept as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP); safely accelerating decommissioning, remediation and high‑hazard risk reduction; safely and efficiently delivering Sellafield’s decommissioning and nuclear waste objectives

What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 2 years of experience working in highly regulated environment, minimum of 1 years’ experience within the radiological areas (Separation), Level 2 Nuclear Health Physics Monitor Apprenticeship or Level 2 Certificate in Health Physics Monitoring in the Nuclear Industry, Proficient in MS Office tools, Understanding of radiological protection principles (IRR17, ALARP, dose limits), Holds Sellafield clearance level and P4 pass
What You'll Do.
Monitor and record personnel dose uptake
On site control of dose badges
Track cumulative dose exposure
Maintain accurate dose logs
Contribute to safe systems of work
Assist in estimating predicted dose
Advise on radiological hazards
Liaise with Health Physics Monitors
Communicate dose status to workers
Support debriefs and lessons learned
Ensure dose control activities meet requirements
Participate in audits
Maintain auditable dose records
Issue and recover personal dosimetry equipment
Ensure dosimetry systems are functional
Assist Health Physics teams
