What You’ll Get to Do The Door Coordinator serves as a key liaison between sales, production, and customers, ensuring timely and accurate processing of metal door systems. This role combines technical expertise, customer service, and inventory oversight to support operational excellence and client satisfaction. This role is perfect for an individual who enjoys detail-oriented work, can multi-task and understands architectural drawings and specifications. A vital member of OBE this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include: Create Door Fabrication detail packages for the Door Fabrication Department from customer quote requests, sales orders and shop drawings. Check all data provided on a given project to ensure that the project is detailed accurately. (ACCURACY IS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT) Check for hardware compatibility with doors and frames detailed. Order vendor hardware for detailed projects. Coordinate the receipt of vendor hardware. Work with engineering department regarding door and frame detailing. Check door hardware schedules on shop drawings as needed.
