Nice to Have
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, CRT-Clinical Documentation Specialist, Certified (CCDS) - Upon Hire, CRT-Documentation Improvement Practitioner, Certified (CDIP) - Upon Hire
What You'll Do.
Identify factors influencing complexity and severity of patient diagnoses
accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation
Utilize clinical expertise for best practice
Provide daily clinical evaluation of documentation
Review and recommend improvements to clinical documentation quality
Guide and support Clinical Documentation Improvement Program efforts
Communicate with providers to clarify documentation
Partner with HIM and Revenue Cycle professionals
Educate healthcare team about clinical documentation guidelines
