What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry, Proven experience supporting project closeout in complex or multi-disciplinary projects, with on-site coordination, Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management), Experience in data management, document mapping, and reporting processes, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems, Experience preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)

Nice to Have

preferably with hospitality or hotel development projects, Familiarity with hospitality brand standards and handover requirements is highly preferred, PMI or other Project Management certification is a plus

Support FM and Asset Management teams in closeout

Maintain on-site presence and coordinate documentation

Establish and manage document control system

Coordinate communication between teams for document handover

Ensure familiarity with hospitality development project phases

Support and manage full project closeout process

Create and maintain structured document control folders

Develop and enforce document control procedures

and improve Document Control Procedures

Track and report document status

Ensure documentation aligns with hotel standards

Support audits and inspections
