We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley **Position Overview:** Oversees and directs the operation of distribution, including staffing, work assignments of supply chain personnel, and managing established budgets. Ensures staff conducts proper receiving and unpacking of supplies, rotating of stock and checking for outdates materials and supplies as needed. Routinely supervises and reassigns distribution duties, as needed. Evaluates and fosters culture of confidence and cooperation across affiliate supervisors, managers, and directors through impeccable job performance, and professional grade communication. Demonstrates, leads by example and adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Schedules and delegates highly-specialized tasks and/or articulates departmental responsibilities to visiting or new employees. May interact with vendors, special orders, and consignments when working with clinical leaders. Recognizes and emulates best practices by implementing standard workflows/processes, while developing plans of action to implement changes. May act as a backup to the supply chain manager for tactical oversight. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION:** * HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) **TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:** * 5 years recent relevant experience **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:** * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook. * Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control, purchasing/buying, and materials management or inventory control field. * Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of supply chain and materials management principles and related functions in a healthcare setting. * Familiar with healthcare products and equipment, inventory control, and materials management * Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building,
