There is daily travel to field locations and occasional overnight travel depending on project location and schedule. The Distribution Design Associate is responsible for collecting field data and is the primary connection between customers, field conditions and the central design centers. **Key responsibilities include:** * Provide field engineering services on customer requests and projects generated internally, such as reliability, planning and replacement. * Perform on‑site field visits to evaluate electric distribution and gas system project locations, capturing accurate measurements, sketches, photos, and site observations. * Document existing conditions, customer requirements, and field constraints, producing clear and complete field notes for use by centralized design teams. * Obtain all required customer approvals, easements, and rights-of-way to prepare and execute service contracts, permits, releases, plats, and records. * Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal engineering/design centers, while interpreting field conditions and
