What You'll Do.
maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all dishes
and kitchen equipment
operating and maintaining commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely
washing and sanitizing all dishes
and glassware by hand or using dishwashing machines
sorting and stacking clean dishes
ensuring proper storage and organization
emptying and cleaning trash receptacles throughout the kitchen and dining areas
sweeping and mopping kitchen floors regularly to maintain cleanliness and prevent slips
assisting with basic food prep tasks as needed
such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients
adhering to all health and safety regulations
including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment
reporting any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly
maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times
assisting with receiving and storing deliveries as directed
