Seasonal **JOB TITLE:** Dishwasher/ Prep Cook Reports to: St. Bernard's Manager **LOCATION:** St. Bernard's Restaurant **CLASSIFICATION:** Part-Time/ Seasonal/ Hourly **Opening:** June '26 to Oct '26 **POSITION:** The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all dishes, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment within Alterra Mountain Company's food and beverage operations. This role is crucial for supporting efficient kitchen operations and ensuring a safe and hygienic dining experience for our guests. **JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely. * Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware by hand or using dishwashing machines. * Sort and stack clean dishes, ensuring proper storage and organization. * Empty and clean trash receptacles throughout the kitchen and dining areas. * Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to maintain cleanliness and prevent slips. * Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients. * Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment. * Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly. * Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. * Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as directed. * Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management. **SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:** * Prior experience as a dishwasher in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality environment preferred but not required. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including, _weekends_ , and holidays. * Basic understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene practices. * Abil
