Proficient ability to read, write, and understand English, Ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers, Ability to understand and follow basic written and oral step-by-step instructions, Ability to move food serving and preparation equipment, Ability to stoop, turn, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, handle, stand and walk over 75% of the shift, Ability to safely utilize kitchen equipment, Ability to recognize differences in sound generated by equipment, Ability to work under close supervision, Ability to perform tasks with due consideration of residents, Ability to work and cooperate with other employees, Ability to learn basic food serving, cleanliness, and sanitation requirements
What You'll Do.

Clean and sanitize all carts
Clean production equipment and kitchen according to cleaning
Mop and sweep kitchen and dry storeroom
Mop and sweep walk-in coolers
Take out trash on an ongoing basis
Keep log sheets for dish machine
Keep log sheets for 3 compartment sink
Assist in receiving groceries
Assist in storing groceries
Assist in receiving frozen foods
Assist in storing frozen foods
Assist in receiving produce
Assist in storing produce
Date canned goods as directed
Rotate canned goods as directed
Detect situations that may cause accidents or injuries
Correct situations that may cause accidents or injuries
Report situations that may cause accidents or injuries
