Must Have
Diploma or qualification at QQI Level 6 or above in a related healthcare field, Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Direct Support Worker or a related role, Knowledge of principles and techniques utilized in cognitive rehabilitation, Irish/EU/EEA Passport holder, Full Driving Licence
What You'll Do.
Support and empower residents
Provide person-centred support
Assist in implementation of clinical policies
Coordinate resident appointments
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Provide supervision to frontline staff
Educate and support assigned staff
Participate in conflict resolution
Deliver key-working duties
Promote resident participation
Support residents in achieving goals
Report incidents of concern
Ensure services comply with Health
Safety and Welfare at Work Act 2005
Ensure accidents and incidents are recorded
Support residents in managing personal monies
Maintain comprehensive records

Team & Collaboration
Work as part of a team; Liaise with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT); Work in partnership with MDT staff and families
