Honesty Reliability Curiosity Collaboration Passion About the role and what you'll be doing: The Director of Vendor Management leads Ensono’s Vendor Management Office (VMO) within Procurement. This fully remote leadership role owns day-to-day vendor lifecycle management — onboarding, contract governance, code of conduct, vendor risk, and ESG reporting and accountability — for a complex enterprise vendor ecosystem spanning mainframe software and hardware, value added resellers, distributed software and hardware, telecom, cloud, and professional services. VMO is the central nervous system between Alliances, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Sustainability, Bid Management, and business unit leaders for everything vendor-related. The Director also partners closely with the firm’s AI Transformation function within the Office of the CFO, whose AI Agent end-state depends on structured, well-governed vendor data. This role offers significant exposure to senior leaders and outputs feed directly into deliverables reviewed at the CFO and ELT level. Success is measured by clean operational governance, predictable executive-grade reporting, and on-time delivery of the in-flight portfolio.
