What They're Looking For.

Must Have

10+ years of experience in hardware product development, technical program management, or related technical operations roles, Proven track record of delivering physical products from concept through mass production, Deep understanding of EVT, DVT, PVT, manufacturing validation, and production ramp processes, technical background across hardware systems, firmware integration, manufacturing workflows, and supply chain operations, Experience with PCB and PCBA development, validation testing, tooling, packaging, and factory processes, Experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and globally distributed cross-functional teams, Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills, Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution in a fast-paced environment, AI fluency with demonstrated ability building no-code AI workflows, automations, or AI agents that improve operational execution and team effectiveness

Experience within medical device, digital health, consumer electronics, or other regulated hardware environments is preferred

About the Role Hello Heart is looking for an experienced Director Technical Operations to lead the execution of hardware programs from early concept through mass production. Reporting into our SVP of Hardware Operations, you will partner across Product, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive alignment, manage complexity, and deliver high-quality connected health products at scale. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep hardware development experience with exceptional cross-functional leadership and operational rigor.
