Bachelors’ degree in a relevant quantitative specialty, Significant relevant pharmaceutical experience (7-10+ years) in Market Access, Specific dedicated experience in pricing, Solid understanding and experience with Canadian payer environment and PMPRB specifically, Experienced team and people leader with previous people management experience, Ability to think strategically about complex and systematic challenges, Able to build results oriented approaches, Track record of leveraging analytic rigour to deliver business-optimized solutions, Business knowledge and credibility at senior commercial levels, Interpersonal and influencing abilities, Excellent communications skills (written, spoken and presentation), People leadership skills, Negotiation and facilitation communication skills, Strategically agile with business insight, Can synthesize information from diverse sources to build strategies and solutions

What You'll Do.

develop and cultivate Strategic Pricing team

Establish forward-thinking pricing strategies

Develop viable deal structures

Build innovative contracting solutions

Responsible for adherence to global pricing policies

Implement processes for rebates and chargebacks

Collaborate with business units on pricing requirements

Develop financial models

Prepare presentations for leadership review

Work with Commercial Financial Planning on financial impact

Responsible for pricing compliance and reporting

Advise and lead AZ position on policy changes

Advise business on net price impact

Establish & monitor pricing metrics

Assess and implement annual price increases

Chair the Pricing Approval Committee

Remain current on pricing environment

Engage with industry associations
