What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BAS degree, Strong experience in metal mechanics and / or manufacturing industry, Typically requires experience as a quality management experience, Must be thoroughly familiar with the quality requirements associated with developing products in a regulated industry, Demonstrates personal experience presenting, interacting, and building effective relationships with internal management teams, customers, and regulatory agencies, Demonstrates excellent communication and presentation skills (articulate and persuasive), Demonstrates dedicated, entrepreneurial, energetic, self-assured professional with high personal integrity and ability to develop good relationships within our customer base, Experience implementing a single quality system across multiple sites, Proven track record of successful regulatory audits, Demonstrated experience with a New Product Introduction process (i. e. new product launches), Strong knowledge of assigned business operations and knowledge of product specific safety standards and work groups, Strong problem solving and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and implement complex influencing and negotiating strategies that demonstrate political awareness, Ability to work across cultures/poles/sites, Demonstrated ability to drive change, test the status quo and promote new activities, stimulating others to change and manage implementation effectively
Nice to Have
Master’s degree preferred, Knowledge of current commercial or political situations and their impact on the organization’s regulatory strategies
What You'll Do.
Guiding the quality function within Flex
Delivering a world-class Quality System to the business
compliant best practices in key processes are applied across our organization
and improving quality systems including compliance
and document control for manufacturing and design in different locations
Interfacing with manufacturing
quality and customer representatives to develop quality systems and ensure compliance
Coaching QA chiefs to develop effective system and compliance strategies
Monitoring the external landscape for QA to formulate strategies
Continuously reviewing and putting strategies in place to improve existing processes and promote implementation of new initiatives
Ensuring compliance with the Company’s Quality System and applicable regulatory requirements
Preparing the Company for regulatory inspections
Working closely with functional areas to implement quality and regulatory strategies
establishing and maintaining quality assurance programs
procedures and controls
Ensuring that performance and quality of products conform to established standards
agency guidelines and customer requirements
Working directly with operating entities to ensure the conduct of inspections
statistical process control research and audits
Establishing and ensuring compliance with good housekeeping practices
employee hygiene and equipment
Investigating plant errors
spoilage reports and process statistics
Working with Research and Development during new product start-ups
Establishing key checkpoints for new products and processes
