Director,Quality

Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to make molecules to decarbonize our world! Our outstanding people are our most important asset and will allow us to deliver hydrogen from renewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels. We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Director of Quality to lead our quality function. This role is critical to establishing a robust Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring product reliability, and enabling the rapid scale-up of our electrolyzer manufacturing operations. As our quality leader, you will define processes, implement systems, and partner cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams. You will champion a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization, fostering continuous improvement, accountability, and operational rigor. Primary Responsibilities Define and execute the company's quality strategy in alignment with product development and manufacturing scale-up objectives Build and lead the quality function, including future hiring, team development, and organizational growth Serve as the primary advocate for quality across engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership teams Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to senior management Develop supplier quality programs, including supplier qualification, audits, corrective actions, and ongoing performance monitoring Partner with supply chain teams to ensure component quality, traceability, and supplier compliance Support manufacturing readiness, process validation activities, yield improvement initiatives, and production quality objectives Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a scalable Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 standards Lead the company's ISO 9001 certification efforts and ongoing compliance activities Establish and maintain documentation control systems, training programs, and internal audit proce
