What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, energy management, or equivalent professional experience, At least eight years’ experience working on power generation projects, at least two years of onsite construction experience, Four or more years of people leader experience, A proven track record of managing a team of engineers and/or project managers to complete successful power generation projects, Ability to command a room of equipment supply professionals, EPC contractors, and/or Project Managers and engineers, Understanding of typical schedules for power generation projects, including construction schedules
Nice to Have
Master’s degree in business, engineering, construction, energy management, or equivalent professional experience, Twelve or more years’ experience working on power generation projects, at least two years of onsite construction experience, commissioning experience preferred, Six or more years of people leader experience, Experience leading large-scale power generation projects (over 600MW), Established relationships with leading utility construction & EPC partners, Demonstrated ability to negotiate EPC agreements (over $200M), Experience managing an extensive portfolio of work (over $500M) across a large region

Lead project management for onsite generation projects
Ensure suppliers and EPC contractors effectively plan and execute projects within budget and schedule constraints
Provide leadership for the end-to-end delivery of onsite generation initiatives
Drive structured portfolio and project governance
and scale a high-performing onsite generation project management organization
Establish the framework
and guidance for project managers and legal partners to effectively structure
and manage EPC contracts
Lead commercial negotiations for EPC agreements
Own and communicate portfolio-level financial performance
Deliver clear reporting
and insights to QTS leadership on budget
and strategic investment priorities
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with EVP - Utility Delivery; Serve as a senior relationship steward across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with development, legal, engineering, operations, finance, supply chain, and key suppliers and contractors
Communication Scope
Command a room of equipment supply professionals, EPC contractors, and/or Project Managers and engineers; Communicate portfolio-level financial performance; Deliver clear reporting, forecasts, and insights to QTS leadership
