Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Own the end-to-end architecture, development, and continuous evolution of a complex AI-native software platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance. Define and enforce architectural standards across AI systems, including orchestration frameworks, API integrations, cloud infrastructure, real-time processing, and production deployment strategies. Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, third-party platforms, and AI capabilities to guide build-versus-buy decisions and future platform evolution. Actively contribute to engineering efforts through design reviews, code reviews, technical prototyping, architecture planning, and resolution of complex production issues. Lead the implementation and optimization of core platform services, integrations, and critical system components. Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team focused on technical excellence, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Establish engineering best practices, including automated testing, deployment pipelines, AI-assisted development workflows, monitoring, and operational excellence standards. Manage engineering resources, budgets, vendor relationships, and outsourced development partnerships while ensuring quality, security, and delivery expectations are met. Define, monitor, and improve key engineering performance indicators such as uptime, deployment frequency, latency, reliability, and incident response metrics. Collaborate closely with product, operations, and business leaders to align technical roadmaps with organizational objectives and customer needs. Represent engineering perspectives in executive discussions, translating technical considerations into clear business opportunities, risks, and strategic recommendations.
