What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management with focus in Sales and Marketing, Currently or recently served in sales management of a high-growth, medical device organization whose products are marketed to a medical specialty practice for a minimum of 5 years, High level of interpersonal skills: influencing, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving, Excellent communicator using all available channels, Ability to make effective presentations to cross functional areas of the company, and to outside healthcare professionals, A history of successfully managing relationships at all levels of the organization, Consistent career history of strong, effective mentoring and team building, Results-oriented team member, skilled in working with outside healthcare professionals, Organizational skills, ability to prioritize and complete projects, Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and apply creative solutions to challenges, High level of energy and collaborative management style, Customer focus, Available to travel extensively, Knowledge and familiarity of applicable regulations/standards (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 14971)
Nice to Have
Experience in orthopedics is highly desired, Spine experience also a plus, Experience working with independent surgical dealerships
What You'll Do.
Report to the Area VP of Sales
Sell products by managing and expanding customer base
Identify new customer opportunities
Manage all Territory Managers and Territory Associates
Provide positive mentoring to ensure company goals are achieved
Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota
Meet with key leaders in spine to drive company business
Drive revenue to meet company objectives
Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory requirements
Act and conduct company business in an honest
ethical and legal manner
Establish rapport and working relationship with employees
Develop plans to meet/exceed sales goals and quotas
Work closely with senior management to align priorities
Execute and refine the selling strategy
Develop rapport with key leaders in the spine field
Achieve regional sales operational objectives
Contribute regional sales information and recommendations
Prepare and complete action plans
and customer-service improvements
Identify opportunities
Determine regional sales system improvements
Foster a positive team environment
Manage implant shelf life and instrument sets
Return damaged or expired product
Prepare demonstrations and present products
Represent the company at trade shows
Monitor and evaluate the competition
Suggest new products to expand business
Hold product or documentation from shipment if non-compliant
Report instances of non-compliance to Quality and/or Regulatory
